[International Visitor¡®s report] Professor Kaye Chon, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University

Professor Kaye Chon from the School of Hotel and Tourism Management, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, visited Wakayama University on the 16th April.

Professor Chon met with President Prof. Motoyama, Dean of the Faculty of Tourism Prof. Oura, Director of the Center for Tourism Research Prof. Sano, and some other staff members and discussed possible collaboration opportunities and future cooperation.

Prof. Chon also delivered a presentation titled “Innovation and Leadership in Tourism and Hospitality” in the CTR workshop series 2025 session 1. In his talk, he emphasized the importance of leadership in the tourism and hospitality industry, particularly inspiring various stakeholders.
