[Conference presentation] Asia Pacific Conference 2024

The Asia Pacific Conference 2024, organised by the Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University and the Ritsumeikan Center for Asia Pacific Studies (RCAPS), was held from 30 November to 1 December at the Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University in Oita, Japan. From Wakayama University, CTR Researcher, Dr. Mohamed Elbarbary and CTR Visiting Junior Fellow, Mr. Koki Sawada (Graduate School of Tourism, Wakayama University; Okinawa Women's Junior College) presented their research. 

Dr. Elbarbary gave an oral presentation on his research examining the degree of influence of the Semiotic Landscape represented in the text and images on non-official signage in Shin-Okubo, Tokyo, on visitors' satisfaction and behavioral intentions to revisit the destination or recommend it to others.
