[Conference presentation] TTRA-APac Conference 2023

The Annual Conference of the Travel and Tourism Research Association Asia Pacific Chapter (TTRA-APac) was held between 1st and 4th December at Sejong University in Seoul, South Korea.
From Wakayama University, CTR Researchers, Dr. Husna Zainal Abidin, Assoc Prof. Kaede Sano (Faculty of Tourism), Assoc Prof. Hayato Nagai (Faculty of Tourism) and Mr. Sun Hao (Graduate School of Tourism; CTR Visiting Junior Fellow) presented their research. CTR Visiting Fellows including Dr. Niccolò Comerio (LIUC Università Cattaneo, Italy) and Prof. Kyoko Morikoshi (Hokusei Gakuen University Junior College, Japan) also presented their research.

The presentation “Exploring tourists’ perceptions on the use of generative AI: Using ChatGPT for travel planning to Japan” by Dr. Zainal Abidin, Assoc Prof. Sano, and Prof. Scarles (University of Surrey, UK; CTR Visiting Fellow) was awarded the Best Paper Award at the conference. This research was funded by the CTR Joint Research Support Project.
