Wakayama University ranked in the field of Hospitality & Tourism Management in the 2022 GRAS!

Wakayama University (WU) is ranked 151-200 in the Hospitality and Tourism Management field in the 2022 Global Academic Ranking of Schools (GRAS) announced on July 19. This is the first time WU has been ranked in this field and the only Japanese university in this category.

The ranking is based on objective academic indicators and third-party data, including the number of papers published in leading international journals, the number of citations of papers, and the number of international collaborative research projects.

The research activities of faculty members and students belonging to Wakayama University, including the Center for Tourism Research andthe Faculty of Tourism, have led to this achievement.
