[Conference presentation] 2016 Global Marketing Conference at Hong Kong

Dr. Kaede Sano (Wakayama University), the sub-leader of Tourism Management Research Unit at Center for Tourism Research, presented a research paper at the Global Marketing Conference (GMC) in Hong Kong (July 21-24, 2016).
The paper titled as “Investigating the role of attitudes towards social media marketing activities and the perceived value of using social media in organizing vacation” was presented in Advancing Tourism and Hospitality Marketing Session.
The purpose of this research is to explore how tourists perceive the value of social media in tourism industry. This research also involves investigating social media marketing activities, and how tourists’ perceived value of social media affects their intention to use social media for organizing their vacation.
